1993 is in the Bordeaux/Cabernet style, very supple and well balanced. Complex layers of rich berry fruits; mulberries, blackberries and redcurrants - there are also soft ripe fruits such as cherries and damsons with the characteristic "Musar" spiciness and cedar notes. Good acidity and long fine length - certainly a pleasure to drink as Serge predicted in September 1993!

Mature, like a traditional-style Rioja, with tea, dried plum, raisin and brown sugar flavors--but they're still ripe and sweet despite its age, and the texture is smooth. A pretty wine. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carignane. Drink now. 350 cases imported.
