Yet, the wine is not a one-trick pony-it's well balanced, with a lively acidity that keeps the richness in check. The palate shines with a platter of freshly cut stone fruits topped by lemon zest with a subtle undercurrent of pink salt. Vibrant acidity perks up the palate on the finish as note of crushed stone and flint linger.
