A blend of 80% Negroamaro and 20% Malvasia Nera, this savory, fresh red starts off with aromas of red berry jam, tomato paste and olive tapenade. Flavors of tart cherry and red plum glide alongside zesty acidity on the medium-bodied palate, with a bit of grit and grip to the texture. It's a bit rustic in feel but still quite charming-perfect as a weekday red alongside pizza or pasta.
