Niner Bootjack Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
|Region||California, Central Coast, Paso Robles|
VinousOpaque ruby. Ripe, oak-accented dark berries, cherry and a hint of pipe tobacco on the deeply perfumed nose. Plush and round on entry, then more taut in the midpalate, offering energetic bitter cherry and black currant flavors and building smokiness. Shows good clarity and punch on the gently tannic finish, which leaves notes of cherry pit and sexy vanillin oak behind.
Wine EnthusiastThis bottling, which is bolstered by 9% Malbec, 3% Merlot and 2% Carmenère, shows rounded black currant, blueberry, smoked beef and graphite on the nose. Soft tannins make for an elegant presentation, with heavy black-fruit flavors of crème de cassis and dark chocolate.
Adult Signature is required for every shipment.
