On the nose, aromas of undergrowth and small red fruits seasoned with a hint of vanilla develop fullness and roundness on the palate with spicy and peppery notes. This pleasant wine will compliment a roast leg of lamb with sage or mature cheeses. Drink at room temperature while young or within the next 5 years.

Prominent whiffs of burnt caramel, char and toast meld seamlessly into richly concentrated black-plum and cherry flavors in this wine. An 80/20 blend of Grenache and Syrah matured six months in oak, it's a lavish, stately wine that balances youthful black-fruit flavors against embellishments of clove, vanilla and crushed earth. Soft in tannins, it's ready to enjoy now but should improve through 2028 and hold further.

The 2018 Vacqueyras La Grangeliere is a total charmer, offering plenty of ripe strawberry and blackberry fruits intermixed with notes of spring flowers and spice. This gives way to a plump, Provençal, medium-bodied effort that displays the vintage's forward, charming, delicious style. It's ideal for enjoying over the coming 4-5 years, if not a little longer.

Stylish, with singed sandalwood, sanguine and red tea notes weaving around a light-bodied core of red currant and cherry puree flavors. Drink now through 2021.
