Thanks to accuracy and traditional winemaking, followed by a 20 day maceration and 3 years of aging in wood and bottle, a great Barolo is created; austere, developed and elegant. The color of the wine is a redish hue with excellent perfumed notes of spice, leather, purple violets and the classic "goudron". Barolo evolves in bottle for a long period of time. It should be enjoyed between 18-20 degrees, accompanied by great roasts or game.

From Castiglione Falletto, the 2020 Barolo Rocche Di Castiglione takes on a ripe ruby hue and is marked by aromas of black cherries, oak spice, licorice, fresh herbs, and violets. Medium-bodied, it has good depth and intensity on the palate, with ripe tannins and good freshness of acidity, with notes of tea leaf on the finish. Drink 2025-2040.

The 2020 Barolo Rocche di Castiglione is a super-classy, mid-weight wine. Macerated red cherry, blood orange, spice, mint and rose petal all lift from the glass. Translucent and finessed, with tons of sensuality, the 2020 is a winner from Roccheviberti.
