Rich aromas of black fruit, colored by hints of charred spice, dried flowers and rich earth. Super nose, but no less so the palate, where black-licorice, almost tarry notes latch onto the fruit and, together with the fine and firm tannins, provide a relentless, spicy-fruit and oak drive. A super Barolo with a unique style. Sturdy and a little unyielding now, but a long future ahead. Best from 2023.
