The 2020 Rosso di Montalcino is understated and finessed with pretty rose and violet florals over dusty red currants and hints of spice. This is soft-textured and more savory than sweet with mineral-tinged strawberry fruits. It tapers off with medium length and lightly structured, leaving hints of licorice.

Medium-bodied and pure, this an exceptional Rosso, with fine tannins, fresh acidity, and a clean finish. Revealing notes of raspberry, fresh tarragon, and salty earth, this is a wonderfully refreshing wine to drink over the next couple of years.
