Attractive, with rose petal perfume, herbes de Provence, and wild strawberry preserve, the 2016 Barolo is a bit more linear, though it keeps its polished feel, with fine tannins and notes of cedar, red berries, and baking spice. It is a charming wine with a bit of a modern feel but remains elegant. Drink 2024-2036.

Subdued aromas of toasted oak, espresso and coconut slowly take shape in the glass. The tightly-wound palate evokes prune, roasted coffee bean and clove alongside close-grained tannins. Drink after 2023.

Vanilla and coconut aromas give way to cherry and plum flavors in this red, with hints of tar and mint. This tips to the dry side in the mix, with a moderately long finish. Best from 2024 through 2038.
