The Sharecropper’s label harkens back to the spirit of the old sharecropping ideal of a partnership between landowners and laborers who toil producing the crops. In the sharecropper relationship, the farmer and the laborer split the harvest profits, and this is essentially what the folks at Owen Roe did with their growers. Owen Roe would take the fruit, make the wine, and, once it sold, share the profits with their growers. This remains an important part of their history, and, due to the success of this wine, they are now able to pay their growers upfront. The fruit for this Pinot Noir was sourced from several sites in the Willamette Valley. Aged 9 months in 100% neutral French oak barrels. 2017 vintage – Aromatic with hints of black licorice, candied fruit, spiced hazelnut and rose petal. Flavors of toasted baguette, black cherry, clove and cinnamon are elegantly balanced with the refreshing acidity on the palate.

Adult Signature is required for every shipment.
