Deep ruby red color. The bouquet on the nose is rich and complex with aromas of violets, red berries, such as raspberry and red currant, and a fresh hint of red orange. On the palate it is dry, fresh, full- bodied with smooth tannins. Very long and tasty finish, with a pleasant minerality and flavors of violets and berries. Ideal with first dishes with meat sauce, soups, roasted and grilled red meats. Excellent with tasty and seasoned cheeses.

The 2019 Rosso di Montalcino lifts up with rosy florals and herbal-tinged strawberries contrasted by wet stone mineral tones and a hint of leather strap. It's soft and fleshy in feel yet balanced by brisk acids and a mix of both sweet and savory spice. There's so much pent-up energy and tension to this spicy Rosso, which tapers off with cheek-puckering tart berries.
