Croix Estate Old Manzana Slope Pinot Noir 2013
|Region||California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley|
Seductive mocha- and espresso-scented oak leads to a supple, graceful offering of blueberry and raspberry flavors that's rich without being weighty, gaining depth and revealing extra layers on a long, sustained finish. Drink now through 2022. 150 cases made.
From a Kirk Venge project devoted to coastal Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, this full-bodied, fruit-forward vineyard-designate comes from a Dutton Ranch property rich in Goldridge soil. Stemmy and cinnamon spicy, it's concentrated in black cherry and earth, with a twist of dried herb, wild rose and black pepper on the finish. Give it until 2018 in bottle and enjoy through 2025.
Adult Signature is required for every shipment.
