Roserock Zephirine Pinot Noir 2014
Zéphirine has a deep, rosewood color. On the nose, there is clear energy, and layers upon layers of violets, delicate roses, small berries and brush. On the palate, there is a wealth of blue and black fruit flavors balanced by excellent structure and fine tannins. As a whole, Zéphirine exudes complexity and refinement, and leads to a very long, satisfying finish. It will be lovely to experience as it ages over the next 8-10 years or more.

James Suckling "A juicy and intense wine with with lots of plum, chocolate and cedar undertones. Full-bodied and velvety. Pretty, gorgeous, racy and just so fine. Love the fruit and texture. "
Vinous "Brilliant red. Ripe red and blue fruits, candied flowers, incense and a hint of licorice on the deeply perfumed nose. A spine of juicy acidity provides lift and structure to sweet raspberry and boysenberry flavors that open up slowly on the back half. Delivers a suave blend of power and finesse and finishes impressively long, showing resonating red fruit character and sneaky, harmonious tannins."
Wine SpectatorFirm in texture, with powdery tannins wrapping around blackberry, raspberry and floral flavors, a meaty note weaving through the juicy finish. Best from 2017 through 2022. 1,300 cases made.
