Another stunning effort from winemaker Paul Lato, the 2014 Pinot Noir John Sebastiano Vineyard (raised in 60% new oak) offers another level of purity and focus over the straight Sta. Rita Hills release. Chambolle-Musigny like with its elegant, ultra-pure and nuanced bouquet of framboise, flowers and spice, this beauty has no hard edges, perfect balance and a seamless, silky texture that keeps you coming back to the glass. It’s beautiful already, yet should keep for 7-8 years, possibly longer.

Plum fruit, smoked pork and sandalwood mesh with some funky game on the nose of this bottling from a new winery owned by John Wagner, with winemaker Paul Lato at the helm. It's light in body, with sultry cranberry fruit and touches of thyme, white pepper and iron.

Delivers a rich, generous, elegant mix of anise-laced dark berry, fresh-turned earth, savory herb and light oak notes, deftly balanced and easy to enjoy now.
