Sutor Chardonnay 2012
About the wine: Made from grapes grown on a hillside vineyard with flysch soil called Jamce in the commune of Podraga in the Vipava Valley. The yield is very low for a
white wine at 30 hectoliters per hectare, which ensures a wine of concentration and depth. The wine is aged in large wooden barrels (foudres) to help the wine round out
and to add a little extra structure. A small portion of the must is given extended skin contact. Bottled unfiltered.
Aroma: Ripe, yet elegant nose with an attractive mineral underpinning.
Taste: A creamy wine with exciting length and flavors – baked fruits show on
the long and persistent finish.
Food pairing: Perfect with fish, white meat dishes (especially with sauces), light pasta dishes, risottos, and softer cheeses.
Adult Signature is required for every shipment.
