From over 45 years old vines. Dark cardinal red. In the bouquet, a vivid impression of the barrique as well as ripe fruit aromas of cherry, blackberry and raspberry; also spicy notes e.g. after cinnamon and anise are noticeable. Characterful and of elegant minerality on the palate. The fruit aromas of the bouquet continue and become more intense with increasing ventilation time. Well-integrated vanilla notes and prominent but soft tannins lend structure. Sustainable and already good to drink, but also with storage potential.
