Cloudy Bay Te Koko 2015
Cloudy Bay Te Koko is a vibrant and aromatic barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc. With this wine Cloudy Bay broke the winemaking rules to create a unique and sophisticated style of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc made by wild fermentation and aging in old French oak. Offers aromas of honeysuckle and sweet herbs that are supported by flavors of white nectarine. The palate is juicy and mouth-watering with notes of white peach as well as exotic hints of kaflir lime and lemongrass. The texture of the wine is round and ripe. Flinty minerality adds an ethereal, savory complexity. Structurally, the wine is underpinned by carefully intertwined acidity that builds towards a fresh and vibrant finish.

Wine SpectatorStylish, offering an intriguing mix of honeysuckle, lanolin and beeswax flavors, with a spicy backdrop for the lemon curd, pear and yellow apple notes. Vibrant acidity. Drink now. 800 cases imported.
Wine EnthusiastThis premium Sauvignon is barrel fermented and aged, and underwent partial malolactic fermentation. It's medium-gold hued and a little reductive at first, although not unpleasant. Bruised red apple, pineapple, nectarine, tomato leaf and white spice characters all take a back seat to the butter and toast aromas. The palate is creamy, but also taut and focused, sliced with bright acidity.
Adult Signature is required for every shipment.
