The very warm 2014 vintage provided fruit with full ripeness and rich concentration, and allowed the sites in the blend to show off their terroir. The blend of four varietals expresses beautiful Washington fruit structure and elegance.

Cabernet Sauvignon makes up 73% of this wine, along with 20% Merlot, 5% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc. Tightly wound aromas of wood spice, vanilla, black fruit, plum and coffee bean give way to full-bodied, palate-coating and concentrated cherry and espresso flavors that linger on the finish. The barrel influence is heavy, but it works.

Focused and a bit taut, with brooding dark berry and dried sage aromas and trim, smoky flavors. Firm tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. Best after 2018.
