W&J Graham's Tawny Port 40 year old

SKU 16105

Graham's 40 Years of Age: golden amber with a pale green tinge at the rim, which denotes great quality and class. Very complex on the nose with a powerful fragrance and opulence that belies its age. The palate is a gamut of flavours, ranging from delicate apricot fruit and raisins to creamy toffee and praline. The full, persistent aftertaste is sheer pleasure. A very rare wine available in restricted quantity.

Wine EnthusiastAn old, mature wine, but one that has kept its ripeness and richness. The concentration is so intense that one glass is almost enough (except it tastes so good). There are walnuts, bitter chocolate and a delicious clean aftertaste.

Wine SpectatorSlightly atypical but showing plenty of character. More like a dry oloroso Sherry. Medium in body and sweetness, adding salty, nutty, hazelnut notes. Try with nuts, blue cheese or almond desserts. Drink now.
