Our "Les Caillottes" cuvée stands out for its fruity freshness and its finesse on the palate. It may be cellared for up to 5 years, but it is preferable to drink it within the first three years in order to best appreciate its freshness. This wine should be served chilled at between 8 and 12°C. It may be enjoyed as an aperitif or as the perfect accompaniment to the bounty of the sea, including crustaceans, shellfish, and raw or cooked fish. It is also a good match for white meats (poultry, veal) and goat's cheeses in particular.
This wine needs aging. Its tight texture, although rich, is also taut and mineral. With herbal acidity and a tangy aftertaste, it shows excellent potential. Drink from 2019.
Argiolas Costamolino 2019Vermentino often shows the fragrance of macchia, the mix of evergreen shrubs and herbs that typifies the Sardinian landscape. Costamolino hints at aromas of pine and mint coupled with ripe stone fruit and sweet citrus. The palate is at once vibrant and textural and finishes with lingering acidity. Costamolino is produced with the Mediterranean table in mind. The wine's lemony acidity will accent rock lobster or squid but carries enough weight to work with spaghetti topped with bottarga or a bowl of brothy clams and fregola. Vermentino's herbal flavor can also highlight vegetables such as fava beans or fennel.
Bruni Vermentino Plinio 2019This balances the creamy smoothness of a warm-climate white with the crisp freshness of cooler, coastal nights, a contrast of light and dark, earthy and bright. It will work with pan-seared fish.
