Brugal 1888 is a very elegant, refined rum that has a rich, smooth flavor. Aged in sherry casks, all of the flavors are wonderfully integrated and harmonious.
Color: Dark amber, clear and brilliant.
Nose: An exquisite scented bouquet, evolving over time through undisturbed ageing and blending of flavors of varied provenance. Fascinating complexity, with spicy notes, hints of chocolate, roasted coffee beans and reminiscent of cinnamon and dried fruits.
Palate: Pleasant and smooth, delightfully alive, full-bodied, with a notable finish of toffee caramel, wood and licorice.
