Among the most aromatic rums, with a rich, thick caramel perfume. On the palate, this honey-colored spirit, made from a blend of rums aged from 10 to 30 years, is full bodied and viscous. It has an oaky flavor mixed with tropical fruit and a powerful burnt-toffee finish. Rather heavy on the alcohol; it ought to be a sipping rum, but it's so boozy it burns the tongue.
