Taste of the Nation - Fight Hunger!

Join us on Thursday evening, May 25th from 6 to 9pm at 960 Main St., -"The New G. Fox" in Hartford as we partner with Winebow at a tasing table to help fight hunger.  There will be many restaurants there with tasting tables and other wine tasting tables too.

While this is an exciting evetn that celebrates the great taste and innovation of Greater Hartford, it also raises awareness and funds for hunger - an issue more devastating than many realize.  Last year more than 100,000 of our neighbors in Greater Hartford - 40,000 of them children - received food assistance from a pantry, shelter or emergency program.  Locally as well as nationally, 10% of our population struggles with hunger.  Proceeds from this event will benefit Foodshare, Hartford Food System, and End Hunger Connecticut.  Read more at SOSHartford@aol.com
