Burgess Syrah 2004
Syrah thrives in our estate vineyard on the eastern face of Howell Mountain. The terroir concentrates the varietal characteristics in part by restricting the yields. Burgess Syrah shows classic qualities of spice and blackberry along with complements of American and French oak imparting a classic mouth feel and long finish. Wine Enthusiast There’s a touch of raisiny overripeness in this dry Syrah, not a lot, but just enough to confuse the palate.
